Paris record company Fremeaux &
Associates re-releases "Django à la
Créole" in their catalog. The CD is
included among the top 10 Jazz CD's for
2008 in the London Times.

Evan's group performs for the New
Orleans Saints game in London.
April 21, 2008:
With pianist Tom McDermott, Evan
receives a "Big Easy" award for "Best
Traditional Jazz Artist"
April 21, 2008:
As a feautured soloist with the New
Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Evan performs
for President Bush during a summit of
the North American leaders in New
Orleans.
April 11-13, 2008:
Evan debuts "Django à la Créole" in the
U.S. with performances at the French
Quarter Festival in New Orleans.
April 2008:
"Django à la Créole's" self-titled CD is
released to critical acclaim with four
star reviews in the London Times, The
Scotsman, and Jazzman magazine (Paris).
January 2008:
Evan accepts an invitation to coach a
student ensemble performing New Orleans
style jazz at the University of New
Orleans.
December, 2007:
Evan included in the Downbeat Critic's
poll among the Rising Star
Clarinetists.
December, 2007:
"Delta Bound" gains critical acclaim
with four stars (out of five) in
Downbeat, a review by Nat Hentoff in
Jazz Times, by Ben Ratliff in the NY
Times, and included in the Village

Evan officially moves back to New
